We have been working on a new Groovy Grapes brand and logo that was soft launched (code for we got busy and only listed it on our business cards) in early 2010 – see the logo top left.
Behind the scenes we’ve been doing more and more corporate work over the years, it’s just the way phone calls and emails have gone but our brand and website didn’t really communicate this. So we decided to work with our clients to get some feedback and set out to update our front stage look and messaging to catch up with our back stage reality.
We started in 2003 by running public events and that led to backyard tastings with family and friends. We started hosting the odd birthday party, anniversary celebration and bachelorette party. Once people got the sense we were serious I guess that’s when we started getting calls for office parties and corporate occasions and soon after wine councils and festival organizers. Somewhere in there Stacey got the chance to host a national TV series, “This Food, That Wine”, that aired in 27 countries and co-authored a best selling cookbook and wine pairing guide sold in North America, the U.K. and Australia.
Thank you to all of our staff, friends, family, clients and supporters for the chance to start and evolve this business to where we are now.
Our new focus is on helping corporate clients, our main market, engage with their staff, customers and partners. It’s the concept of Breaking Bread & Building Business. Our secondary market is hosting private residential tastings that focus on Breaking Bread & Celebrating Life and these services will only be available to family, friends, clients and public event attendees or by their referral.
Although we are known for our wine specialty our repertoire has expanded. Think drinks and food – from wine, beer, scotch and cocktails, pairing with cheese, gourmet bites or over a meal and celebrate the most important relationships in their businesses and lives.
We’d love it if you had a moment to share your thoughts on the new logo and direction. If you have any questions drop us a line 613-691-0668 or contact @ groovygrapes.com.
